Renovation

Following the untimely death of Columbia Professor David Rosand (1938–2014) in August 2014, generous donations in honor of his memory and life-long friendship with Mic Muraro enabled Columbia University to undertake a major renovation of Casa Muraro.

In 2018, the Department of Art History & Archaeology announced the completion of the four-story home's first phase of renovation, which included a new state-of-the-art Teaching Center and the establishment of the Research Library for Venetian Studies.
